These range from 4 to 4.5 cm diameter hand-carved and hand-painted pins. All here have charcoal under-drawings.
Above is the process of the watercolor painting. Usually start off laying some footnotes and working up the details and correcting proportions as I move along.
Fist image shows the base in charcoal, the second shows the highlights and the final already varnished. This was painted with pva acrylic paint.
This one above was left in charcoal only. Left shows unvarnished and varnished on the right.
Pet section. Most of the difference shown with the colors is due to the different lighting. Stil, the first image of the second dog was yet to receive a few touches before the final varnishing.
